People, when I say I survived last week, I mean I survived last week…there were three major deadlines - two of them group projects both due on the same day at the same time and worth 50% of my grade, and the other assignment was 100% of my grade for the entire semester. I mean…
This week there are two more big deadlines, but honestly, in comparison, they feel like no big deal - I might as well already be on break. Okay, not really, but kind of! My final assignment of the semester is due this Thursday at noon, and is the individual project for the only class that made me cry this semester. It is, of course, 50% of my grade, so it’s gonna be a whole thing to wrestle to the ground this week. But if i survived last week, I will surely survive this week even if when there are tears.
Needless to say, I didn’t leave the screen of my laptop much until Thursday afternoon when my sanity required some fresh air and a warm meal made of real food with fresh ingredients - no jars or cans or microwaves. On Friday, I got moving at a normal morning time, but after breakfast and a shower, my body and brain turned into cement and I had to lie on my bed and watch several episodes of Northern Exposure before I was able to get up and go for a walk. When I did get up, I walked over to the two buildings of the Modern Scottish National Galleries. Here’s what happened:
